  Don't go here on a hot day to cool off for dinner. It was like a sauna inside. Bathroom wasn't clean. Plates weren't clean. Cashier didn't bother to pause her personal phone conversation while ringing us up. We were generally an inconvenience to the staff. Food was mediocre even for a buffet. Shrimp wasn't cleaned, they fried them up with their mud veins intact.

  New management, best chinese restaurant around, fresh amazing tasting food, nicest wait staff and new manager is very customer oriented comes around to each table to see if anything can be improved on. My family and I try to go there weekly and just can't get enough of the delightful new dishes!!

  1st wok is your typical Chinese Buffet. I am of oriental descent and the food is decent for taking on the American standard. They have basically one buffet bar and two side bars for desserts and salads. My mother has owned a Chinese restaurant for over 30 years, and she doesn't mind eating here so thats quite a statement. The quality doesn't seem to be as great as it was back in the mid 2000s but again its pretty decent quality for a buffet. If your not eating at dinner time you may find some older dishes sitting there, but thats expected for a buffet. Fair pricing and pretty good good is a good combination. Service is typical Chinese restaurant fashion.

  Consistent, delicious, filling. Three words that come to mind with this place. When it comes to chinese buffets in Saginaw, this place easily earns #1. I eat here regularly, and the service and cleanliness of the place is just fine. Like most people (I hope), when I go out to eat, I'm not expecting a restroom fit for a king or the cashier/waiter to be my personal entertainer. They are not disrespectful, and do their job as it needs to be done. For as cheap as it is ($10 dinner for one person, even cheaper for lunch), only the snobbiest people will find this place disappointing.
